- Relevant legislation and safety standards.
The course is designed for aestheticians, beauty therapists, nurses, nurse practitioners, doctors, dentists, and other professionals intending to use advanced lasers and IPL systems
for energy-based cosmetic skin treatments. This is appropriate for healthcare professionals seeking an understanding of the safety
regulations and compliance required for utilising these devices in the treatment of diseases,
disorders, or injuries across several disciplines, including OBGYN, ENT, orthopaedics, and
dentistry.
This course of study teaches essential foundational knowledge on light-based therapy. This will enable you to provide best practices to your patients or clients and enhance your
proficiency in using light-based technology more efficiently.
Upon completion, you will obtain a professional Certificate of Achievement, which you can
submit to your employer, insurer, CQC, or local authority responsible for regulating or licensing users of lasers and IPL devices, confirming yoursuccessful completion of a Laser and IPL “Core of Knowledge” course.
