It is a versatile system that allows the practitioner to formulate variable consistencies to adapt to the characteristics of each application with excellent cell bio-compatibility and safety profile.

This novel autologous filler, is composed of the patient’s plasma, which is prepared from the patient’s own blood. It provides an immediate filler effect because of its gel-like consistency.

Not only does the Plasma Filler improve volume loss, it safely boosts fibroblast expansion and is viewed as an effective treatment to avoid adverse reactions based on infusion-induced complications .

A Biological Supplement

Plasma is derived when all the blood cells – red blood cells (erythrocytes), white blood cells (leukocytes) and platelets (thrombocytes) – are separated from the whole blood.

Plasma Filler is rich in albumin and fibrinogen, a precursor to fibrin which binds to platelets and hyaluronic acid. Hyaluronic acid stimulates fibroblasts.

The three-dimensional matrix serves as a template or scaffold and massively traps the platelets, growth factors, leukocytes, cytokines, and mesenchymal stem cells during the remodelling of tissue.

The PPP serves in its own right as a healing agent which speeds up the healing of wounds and regenerates the target tissue.

As a so-called “fibrin sealant,” PPP is currently utilized in orthopaedic surgery, blood management, and cosmetic surgery.

What is Autologous?

Autologous. [ô-tŏl ′ə-gəs] “Derived or transplanted from the same individual’s body.

Autologous plasma therapy is natural treatment which taps into the regenerative potential of our body in order to induce tissue repair and regeneration.

Plasma Filler utilises platelet poor plasma (PPP) for the use in tissue engineering as it offers an autologous degradable scaffold.

Although PPP has a low number of platelets (< 10 X 103/μL), it contains elevated levels of fibrinogen, a precursor of fibrin.

Fibrin binds to hyaluronic acid which stimulates human fibroblast proliferation within a collagen matrix.

Albumin is the main protein in blood plasma and a protein that acts as a building block for cells and tissues.
